ARCIA is the peak national industry body representing our members in the radio and critical communications industry in Australia. It is a not-for-profit, incorporated association that seeks to support the sector with advocacy and advice, promoting issues including the protection and better utilisation of the radio communications sections of the spectrum, so that it remains available for those who require it.
We create opportunities right around Australia for those working within the industry and for professionals using critical communications in their working lives, to come together in both formal and informal environments. From state dinners and networking evenings to the national Annual Industry Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards, the association delivers a full, year-round calendar of events that bring the community together for the benefit of all. These events give industry professionals the opportunity to network, share ideas, build relationships and learn from each other, as well as to publicly recognise personal and organisational excellence via our awards.
The association continues to work towards an increased level and standard of professionalism for all those employed within the industry, via the development and delivery of training and education and to promote increased public knowledge of the vital role that critical communications plays in Australia’s way of life.
Through implementing diverse, industry-specific initiatives, the Australian Radio Communications Industry Association seeks to raise the profile, understanding and awareness of critical communications in Australia, fostering cooperation between all those touched by the diverse range of technologies and systems available.
